And so it begins! As you can see by the title, the first step (out of 6) is to earn the leadership award. This involves:
- Earning 3 interest projects (fancy name for badge) related to Girl Scout Law
- Setting goals and earning charms for the Studio 2B focus book of my choice (Studio 2B is this new sappy stuff involving 'getting to know yourself, etc.' aka unnecessary junk)
- Logging 30 hours in a leadership role.
- Keeping records and a journal in Go for It! The Girl Scout Gold Award insert.
Right now I'm focusing on the 30 leadership hours. Things I've done so far have involved being in charge for publicity of my classics club, making t-shirts for the said club, being secretary for honor society, and recently I've been put in charge of props for the play Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. I'll soon put up pictures of the random leadership I've been doing. I gotta say, whoever will be looking at my work at the Scout Council won't be bored.
