| My room full of tulle...it was interesting trying to get to my alarm clock in the morning. |
Another event that I led was getting Master's Academy Classical Club into the Waxhaw Christmas Parade. Getting a spot is easy, getting people together for the parade itself is the hard part. In the end I got a few other people besides myself and Grace to come. This means more publicity points for our school! We're a little competitive with publicity. That, and the pressure of beating this school that is obsessed with publicity is a lot on my shoulders. (I'm head of publicity) But anything is possible with God! So I shouldn't be worried at all. Just take it as it comes.
Our parade entry consisted of a chariot, 4 of us pulling it with togas on, and Eris' little brother riding. Another one of Eris' brothers held our sign in front.
Guess what? I just found out that the guidelines for the Gold have changed for the billionth time! *sigh*.... At least I didn't accomplish a whole lot with the leadership step. I can still earn the leadership award, it's just not a part of earning the Gold award. Weird, right? I thought they'd at least keep that in there. So now I'm back to square one, the slate is clean. I won't strangle the head of GS yet. Who is the head anyway?? The headquarters are in NY I think..must be some yankee. (I'm not looking down on anyone, just stating a fact. Don't be offended if you are one.)
Anyway, a new post is coming next Sunday, so stay tuned. Shalom.

I was originally going to foster a dog to become a guide dog for my project, but now it's ruined. The new Gold guidelines want you to do something about an issue in your community (or nation, if you're really ambitious with too much time on your hands). I dunno, maybe it'll happen. If not, I'll get a dog for myself!
